Regular grooming

Stacie has been a veterinary assistant since 2008 and took an active interest in grooming as well as animal health care.  She has been scheduling pets for simple grooming, baths and brush-outs while she trained as a groomer.  Stacie completed her grooming certification in November 2010, so she can now  also schedule fancier cuts to your specification.  Please call for details!

Special needs grooming

The hospital environment allows us to groom special-need patients safely by administering appropriate pain medication to pets with painful arthritis, supplying tranquilizers or anti-anxiety medication for frightened or nervous pets, or even perform grooming under anesthesia for pets that show aggressive behaviors.  Please be aware that pets with these needs must undergo a physical examination and sometimes blood tests before these medications can be safely prescribed.  They must be scheduled separately from regular grooming appointments, so be sure to discuss your pet's needs when scheduling.

All pets scheduled for grooming must be up to date on vaccinations for the health and safety of our staff and other patients, no exceptions!
