Meet Our Team
Dr. Christiana Yule grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and attained her undergraduate degree from Goucher College before moving to the midwest to attend the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with her DVM and returned to Maryland with her three Akitas and housecat, where she practiced small animal medicine and surgery for several years and got married before fate brought her family to northern Maine. She prides herself on offering the best diagnostics and therapies available to pet owners of the St. John Valley and she enjoys learning and bettering her skills daily. Dr. Yule enjoys a quiet home life with her second husband, their housecat, and several retired sled dogs that occupy most of her husband's time.
Stacie has been working at the Fort Kent Animal Hospital since August 2008. She graduated in May of 2008 with a degree in Biology and Environmental Science from UMFK. Stacie lives in Sinclair with her significant other and a menagerie that includes 3 dogs, a cat, and sometimes some other small creatures. She oftens pet-sits for clients and is very dedicated to her work at the hospital, providing night and weekend care to critical cases whenever needed. She is currently training to become a licensed veterinary technician and is also a certified groomer, providing beautification services for our patients between her regular duties!
Christina joined our team in December 2009. After working for many years at a local nursing home, she decided it was time for a change. She likes working with both people and animals and hopes to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, and she is starting coursework to pursue a degree in veterinary technology. She resides with her husband, two children, and several beloved pets in Eagle Lake.
Natalie is a California native who has been a St. John Valley resident for several years. She currently lives in St. Agatha with her boyfriend and their well loved cats. She greets all of our clients and pets with a smile and will be happy to answer any questions you may have before, during and after your visit.
Alan rejoins us after a short stint down in Southern Maine for about seven months. He was missed during that time and we are excited to have him back joining our team! He currently lives in Madawaska and works with us full time, training to be a veterinary technician.
Jeremy is a new face to our team and one we are happy to aquire. A native of New Jersey, he moved up to Northern Maine a few years ago to attend Fort Kent University with a study emphasis in biology and zoonology. He is currently training to be a veterinary assistant and owns one pet tortoise named Rasputin!
