Grooming
Regular grooming
Stacie has been a veterinary assistant since 2008 and took an active interest in grooming as well as animal health care. She is currently available for baths, brushouts, and simple haircuts for both dogs and even-tempered cats. Stacie has been taking coursework to earn her grooming certification for the more complicated "fancy" grooming necessary for some breeds and her skills are growing.
Special needs grooming
The hospital environment allows us to groom special-need patients safely by administering appropriate pain medication to pets with painful arthritis, supplying tranquilizers or anti-anxiety medication for frightened or nervous pets, or even perform grooming under anesthesia for pets that show aggressive behaviors. Please be aware that pets with these needs must undergo a physical examination and sometimes blood tests before these medications can be safely prescribed, and they must be scheduled separately from regular grooming appointments, so be sure to discuss your pet's needs when scheduling.
